Among Us teased a new map called Airship during The Game Awards back in December 2020 and finally releasing the update now. This the fourth map in the game and the biggest to date. The map adds new tasks, including emptying the trash and polishing jewels, and more.
Furthermore, an all-new Airship Skin Bundle is available for purchase. Each new outfit in this bundle comes with its own custom kill animation; cool!
In addition to the new map, Among Us is changing the game’s look. It’s in their to-do list that the full art style of the game to get a revamp. Also, they’re planning on increasing the lobby sizes, which enables 15 players in the same lobby. In a post on its site today, developer InnerSloth said that its plans have “completely updated the art style with cleaner lines and an easier animation process.”
After the immense popularity it received, Innersloth had to cancel their sequel plans and make the current one better. Among Us has been receiving constant updates to make the multiplayer game even better. The developer added that it plans to give players more frequent, transparent updates to show the players the development process and behind the scenes.

Among Us’ popularity and the highest hit in November is mainly helped by the hype around. However, it deserves that hype. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez made a record-breaking Twitch stream in late October, followed by the second stream at the end of November. The wide-spread of the game is solely dependent on all the social streamers around the world. The new map Airship update for Among Us also brings an increase in the number of players.
