Apex Legends has announced a new event called Dark Depths. The event is scheduled to start from January 11 till February 1. The new event also brings a new Arenas map to Apex Legends and three weekly rewards tracks that offer some brand-new loot.
Apex Legends Season 11: Espace has brought us the new Battle Royale Map Storm Point. Respawn is bringing a new Storm Point-themed Arenas map called Habitat.
New Arena Map: Habitat
The new arenas map looks great, with better combat spots for all kinds of strategies in the fight. It holds the Kings Canyon’s Skull Island style but in a Storm Point way.
“Storm Point is just one of many islands in the New Antillia archipelago. Habitat 4 is one of the smallest islands in the chain and is best known as a Leviathan breeding ground. Early IMC research groups were surprised to find that a large population of local Leviathans gravitated toward the island, and designated Habitat 4 as an ethology base to study the creatures’ behavior. It’s been over a century since then, and while the IMC is gone, the gentle giants they studied here remain.”
Flash Events and Rewards Tracks
The Flash events will be available during the Dark Depths event with tasks to complete to get rewards from the weekly rewards tracks.
- Week 1 – January 11 to January 18
- Key prizes include: Apex Packs, Epic Holospray, Load Screen
- Week 2 – January 18 to January 25
- Key prizes include: Apex Pack, Valkyrie Epic Holospray, 1 Dark Depths Pack
- Week 3 – January 25 to February 1
- Key prizes include: Epic Revenant Holospray, Epic Alternator Skin, Epic Revenant Skin
