Apex Legends Season 10 Emergence is just around the corner, scheduled to release on August 3, 2021. The new Season 10 is coming with a lot of new updates and changes to Apex Legends. As the patch notes for the season are not available yet, Let’s talk about what we know so far. In this article, we discuss Weapon Changes. We already covered the topic of New Legend Seer, his abilities, and other Legend changes in a separate article; do check that out.
Here are the significant changes to the game that we know so far:
Weapon Changes
New Weapon: Rampage LMG
Rampage LMG is the newest invention of Rampart. Ramage is a Light Machine Gun, and it uses heavy ammo. Reportedly, it has a low rate of fire but is optimized for mid and long ranges. However, you can charge the Rampage using a thermite grenade, which increases the rate of fire, best for close range. Its magazine size may not be as big as Spitfire, but it holds enough for midrange fights.
Other Weapon Changes
- Spitfire and Alternator are crated in Care Package weapons now; they can no longer be found on the ground loot pool.
- Prowler is back on the ground loot pool, but you can only use it in burst fire state (no auto fire mode).
- The Anvil Receiver and Quickdraw Hop Ups are being removed from the loot pool.
- Pistols will get some of the benefits Quickdraw used to give.
- A new Hop Up called the Boosted Loader can be used on the Hemlock and Wingman, which helps you get faster reload and overload magazine with bonus ammo only if you reload at the right times. There’ll be a visual indication of when you need to reload. So it’s all about the right timing.
- L-Star will now utilize barrels and magazines. They’ll help L-Star fire for a longer time and lesser cool down.
- The EVA-8 will have a fire rate nerf with bolts at every level.
- Magazines will no longer determine faster reloads; Stocks will do that job now.
- 30-30 Repeater and G7 Scout will now use Sniper Stocks.
