Apex Legends has announced a new event called the Unshackled Event. The event starts on April 19, 2022, and will be available until May 3, 2022. The Unshackled Event brings back Flashpoint limited-time mode to Apex Legends. In addition, there will be new cosmetics, thematics, and much more. So for you to get things ready, here’s everything you need to know.
Flashpoint is back
The Flashpoint mode returns to the Olympus this time. In Flashpoint, healing items are removed from the loot pool and replaced by “Flashpoint Zones”. These zones are large areas that regenerate the health and shields of all Legends inside them.
Flash Events
Apex Legends Unshackled Event also brings Flash events to the game. Completing the tasks progress you through the rewards track (below) to unlock event-themed cosmetics and more.
- April 19th to April 26th
- Unique Badge, Epic Charm, Epic Re-45 skin, Epic Seer Skin.
- April 26th to May 3rd
- Unique Badge, Rare Apex Pack, Epic Boxing Nessie Holospray, Unshackled Pack.
Store Rotation

Unlock 40 event-themed cosmetics, including Legendary skins like “Machine Language” Crypto, “Bad Bot” Pathfinder, “Quantum Collision” Wraith, “Slingshot” Valkyrie, “Prison Pacifier” CAR, “Terminated” Hemlok, “Digging the Grave” Peacekeeper, and “Pyromania” Rampage, to unlock cosmetics, weapon charms, trackers, and more.
Thematic Tab Update
Respawn brings an update with the Unshackled event to the Thematic Tab to “show off new content better and make menus easier to read and navigate.”
