EA’s upcoming title Battlefield 2042 has officially revealed its maps and modes. Last week, we got the official announcement about the minimum and required system requirements to play the game. Now they have released all the maps and modes available in the game. You will get to see a map from India in Battlefield 2042. They have named the map ‘Discarded‘ in the game.
The Map from India is from “Alang,” located in the Bhavnagar district of Gujarat. When you look at the pictures on the official site or the trailer, you can observe scenes mainly from the coastal region. The pictures have many ships on the coastline; in reality, this is the world’s largest ship graveyard. There is one big ship called Colossus that contains a submarine inside. You will be having multiple levels and captures in that ship. The main motto of this map is to secure nuclear assets. The location will also have many ships that have been abandoned and scrapped for several years.
IGN India has also reached out to Dice to get more information regarding the map. Their Lead level designer Shashank Uchil has said that they plan to have a Map-based in India for a long time. He mentions how the team has spent time researching the broken ships in Alang. He adds they have spent a lot of time looking at videos and satellite images from all around Alang. Shashank mentions the company is always ready to take players to other amazing parts of India when an opportunity arises.
You can check out other details of other maps and modes on their official website.
