One of the most awaited games from EA is Battlefield 2042. But the game turns out to be a disaster after its release. After just days of release, it became the 10th worst game present on Steam. At present, the game has about 26,000 primarily negative reviews.
As announced during its initial unveiling at E3 2021, the game was supposed to be out on October 22. But due to some reasons, the game has been pushed to November 19. EA mentioned that the reason behind this push is to make sure the game output is excellent. But it seems to have failed even after the delay in the release of the game. The game has got 44,000 reviews, of which 26,000 are negative, making it only 28% positive reviews only.
On a website, Steam250 that displays the top 100 worst games from Steam has Battlefield 2042 at 12th position at present. A few days back, it was in 10th position; two other games came down to 12th position. The game became one of the biggest disappointments and one of the most played games in the series. Battlefield 2042 was such a worst game that someone made a list of all the missing features on Reddit. The List was so long and even had others adding in more of the missing parts.
The team is continuously updating the game to make sure it matches the expectations of the users. It is planning to release a significant update this week to fix most of its issues. The game was lacking in every aspect, from game mechanics to weapons, and this isn’t a first game from the makers.
