Battlefield 2042 release date is announced by the developer with a reveal trailer. This year, Battlefield 2042 is a multiplayer-only game. They have already opened the window for pre-orders. For those who pre-order the game for any platform, EA promised Open Beta access, Full access to the game a week ahead of the release date, and more rewards. The Official Battlefield 2042 release date is October 22, 2021. And the player who pre-ordered can have full access to Battlefield 2042 Ultimate Edition by October 15, 2021.

Game Overview

Battlefield 2042 is a first-person shooter that marks the return to the iconic all-out warfare of the franchise. Adapt and overcome dynamically-changing battlegrounds supporting 128 players with the help of your squad and a cutting-edge arsenal. Take on massive experiences, from updated multiplayer modes like Conquest and Breakthrough to the all-new Hazard Zone.

Battlefield 2042 is supported on Xbox Series X|S, PC, and PlayStation 5. It also supports Xbox One and PlayStation 4, but the battlegrounds support only 64 players.

Battlefield 2042 gameplay reveal is scheduled for June 13, presumably as part of E3 2021. Alongside the new weapons, vehicles, and equipment, the game also introduces Specialists with abilities and characters inspired by the traditional Battlefield classes. We get to see 10 of them at launch.
