A few weeks ago, Dying Light 2 developer Techland said that it would take at least 500 hours to complete the whole story. And now they come up with something more significant. Techland apparently promises 5 years of world expansion to Dying Light 2, which means five years of new updates and the latest content. Whoa! That’s a lot; it depends on in what intervals they could provide the updates.
Techland on Twitter announced its post-launch plans guaranteeing 5 years of support for its upcoming title Dying Light 2: Stay Human. We can’t be sure how much of that content will be free of cost. However, they provided the original Dying Light with many free expansions with free DLCs. So, we could expect at least some of the future expansion updates of Dying Light 2 to be free.

According to Techland’s previous statements, it takes 500 hours to fully complete the Dying Light 2 game. “Fully,” yes by that, they literally mean that it takes 500 hours to complete everything that game has to offer. A typical player who wants to complete the main story and some side quest can actually finish them in 70 to 80 hours. However, players who concentrate only on the main story can complete it in around 20 hours.
The Dying Light 2: Stay Human will release in next month on February 4, 2022.
