FAU-G game is now available and here is our In-Depth Review

Old school fighting with No guns and definitely not an alternative for PUBG Mobile.

FAU-G game is now available and here is the in-depth review

The most anticipated game since the ban of PUBG is finally out today. The game is launched on the occasion of the 72nd Republic day in India. The game has been promoted as an alternative to PUBG in India made by nCore games company. FAU-G is now finally out after months of teasing. This is a quick review of the FAU-G game after playing for a couple of hours.

The game is a third-person brawler game and not a battle royale game. The game now only has one story mode on the Galwan valley incident between the Indian and Chinese army. FAU-G stands for The Fearless and United Guards for those unaware of it. At present, the game is only an Early Access release. There are other modes such as Teamdeath match(TDM) and Free for all(Battle royale). These modes are still in development as this is an early access release.

First Impressions:

Before we get to know about the first impressions, FAU-G developers already mentioned in an interview with IGN, “Compare us to the first release of every game and not the final release. Don’t compare us with the 807th update of Call of Duty. We’ve just got started.

User Interface & Graphics:

The user interface is self-explanatory and easy to navigate. The experience you get from navigating between settings, the store, and the lobby is very smooth. To keep it simple, let’s say there is nothing much to talk about the graphics. I had no expectations regarding graphics after seeing the trailer of the game. The game was hyped to be an alternative to PUBG, and it has not met the expectations. But have to say it does have some good textures in some scenes.

When we talk about an action or battle royale game, the first that comes into my mind is weapons. You will be disappointed if you are looking to shoot some faces. The game doesn’t have guns at all. The only weapons that are present are Club, Axe, and Pipe. You can carry two weapons at a time, which has a durability meter. Most of the fighting is done by fist and legs only.

Story mode & Gameplay:

The game only has one mode at present, and that is the story mode. This story is set in the Galwan Valley location with a fight between Indian and China forces. You will be playing Commander Dhillion, trying to rescue his team members captured by the opposition armed forces. The story audio is explained only in Hindi and has subtitles for them. The story’s fighting sequence is more than the story, which makes it a little old school. It hardly takes only 20-30 minutes to complete the story mode. There are no medkits or healings in the game the only way to heal is to sit near a campfire.

The phone does heat up within few minutes of gameplay.

Battle Royale & Skins:

As this is the early version of the game, there is only one mode to play. There is no Battle royale or Teamdeath mode available now. They are mentioned as coming soon in the game. The battle royale mode is known as Free for all (Every man for himself). The team deathmatch will be having a 5v5 when released.

The store offers some skins for the weapons that are available in the game. You have to buy them using the coins you get while playing the game, or you can buy them.

There is also a Battle pass in the game called Honor Road. You will be awarded silver coins and some skins for the weapons as you progress.

FAU-G is launched with support to three languages English, Hindi, and Tamil. As per BGR India’s report, the game will support more regional languages, including Telugu, Malayalam, Bhojpuri, Punjabi, and Bengali, down the road.

Conclusion:

In conclusion about FAU-G, it is no match to the PUBG Mobile but can have some potential. The game needs a lot of working to be done in graphics, gameplay, detailing, texture and story. I truly appreciate the efforts by the Indian company for putting out some effort in making the game. If the game was not introduced as a replacement for PUBG, it could have got a different response.

How to install the game?

Well, it is effortless. Go to Google PlayStore and search for FAU-G: Fearless and United Guards. You will get the game with the size of 450MB. You can click on install, and that’s it you are ready to play.

Alert: This is the review of the Early Access release of the FAU-G game. The review will be updated after the final version of the game.

So that’s it for now. Thank you for reading, and please do share the article within your circles if you loved reading it. Also, keep an eye on this space to get relevant updates. Stay safe, and we hope to see you around.

FAU-G: Fearless and United Guards

5.4 Score

The review is based completely on my opinion. This is their first try in the segment of games, and I should honestly say at least they have tried. Just have to wait and see the final version of games with more modes and weapons. If you are thinking of it as a replacement to PUBG then it isn't. You can try the game if you want to just have a look at the game because there is nothing you are going to miss if you didn't play this game.
