God Of War, the 2018 official PlayStation exclusive video game, is now on its way to PC. The God Of War PC version will arrive on January 14, 2022. It is currently available to pre-purchase on Steam and Epic Games for $49.99 / £39.99 / INR 3299.
“Our primary goal when bringing God of War to PC was to highlight the exceptional content the team created and leverage the powerful hardware that the platform offers to create a uniquely breathtaking and high-performance version of the game,” said Sr. Community Manager Grace Orlady at Santa Monica Studio. “You’ll be able to enjoy the full potential of our cinematic, no-cut camera as it follows Kratos and Atreus across the realms with the option of true 4K resolution, on supported devices, and unlocked frame rates.”
The God Of War PC version comes with a wide range of graphical presets and options so the players can fine-tune their visual experience based on their setup. Players with a robust PC setup can expect higher resolution shadows and improved screen-space reflections. It also supports ambient occlusion through GTAO and SSDO.
The game is available on RTX and fully integrates with NVIDIA Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS). In addition, it supports NVIDIA Reflex for low latency. The PC version of God Of War is also offering 21:9 ultra-widescreen support.
The game on PC supports DualShock 4 and DualSense wireless controllers in addition to other gamepads. The studio claims that it provides fully customizable bindings for Keyboard and Mouse players.
The purchase of God Of War for PC will also contain the following bonus content:
- Death’s Vow Armor Sets for Kratos and Atreus
- Exile’s Guardian Shield Skin
- Buckler of the Forge Shield Skin
- Shining Elven Soul Shield Skin
- Dökkenshieldr Shield Skin
The official PC Specs / System Requirements are not announced yet. But the Steam buy page reads that the game requires 80 GB of available space.
