There have been a bunch of leaks around the upcoming gifting feature in Apex Legends for a long time. And yeah, the gifting system is officially coming to Apex Legends in Season 15 Eclipse. The new season is just around the corner; it starts on November 1, 2022. There is this new Map coming with Season 15, which is placed on the falling moon of Seer’s home planet Boreas. The new Legend is also unveiled with a new addition to the “Stories from Outlands.” However, in the article, let’s talk about how the gifting system works in Apex Legends Season 15: Eclipse.
How does the gifting system work in Apex Legends?
Prerequisites:
- You must have Login Verification turned on.
- Be at least account level 10.
- Be in-game friends with those you want to gift to.
- Both you and your friend must have been friends for at least 2 weeks before you can give or receive gifts from each other.
Gifts can be acquired with Apex Coins from the Store tabs at launch, ranging from single items like legend and weapon skins to bundles. You can give up to five Gifts every 24 hours.
All you need to do is navigate to the item you want to give to your friend, confirm you have enough Apex Coins for the Gift you wish to get, select your friend’s username from your friends list, and press the “Gift” button after confirming all details. And that’s it.
Gifts are final and not refundable, so make sure you’re gifting to the right account on the right platform and friends who are not banned.
When you receive a gift, it will be added to your inventory, and you will be notified through your inbox in the game.
A fun fact is that we get to see a little (very little) glimpse of the new map, which is coming with Apex Legends Season 15, as a background in the above image.
