Krafton officially confirmed and teased Battlegrounds Mobile India

It's official now, what's going on?

Finally, the big news is just got out. Krafton officially confirmed and announced Battlegrounds Mobile India as a PUBG Mobile replacement for India after its ban. The official website www.battlegroundsmobileindia.com is also live now. We had a talk about this speculation in our previous article; we talked about all the things that happened from its official ban to date, so consider reading that article.

According to the official blog post by Krafton, Battlegrounds Mobile India will offer a world-class AAA multiplayer gaming experience on mobile. The game will release exclusive in-game events like outfits and features. The game will launch as a “free-to-play experience on mobile devices.”

Krafton also announced that Battlegrounds Mobile India will have its own esports ecosystem with tournaments and leagues. As the game is exclusively made for the Indian market, the game might look more Indian(ly) than the global version we played previously.

Battlegrounds Mobile India will be available to play only in India.

Krafton said it would be working with partners to ensure data protection and security at each stage. This will ensure privacy rights are respected, and “all data collection and storage will be in full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in India and for players here.

Battlegrounds Mobile India release date?

Well, the company didn’t announce any date yet. But the rumors say the game will be available to pre-register this month itself.

Krafton also confirms that the game will have a period of pre-registration before the launch.

The South Korean company also mentioned that it will collaborate with partners to build an esports ecosystem while bringing in-game content regularly, starting with a series of India-specific in-game events at launch, to be announced later.
