Last week we saw that Netflix launched its gaming service “Netflix Gaming” to all Android devices. Now Netflix is expanding its gaming service to iOS devices also. This will be similar to the Android Users with a total of five games. You don’t need a special subscription to play these games.
These games will not be available in the native Netflix app but as five different apps in AppStore. This update will be coming to iPhone and iPad users starting Wednesday. These games are limited to only adults, and if you have set a pin to your kid’s account, they won’t be able to access the games. At present, games available for users to play are:
- Stranger Things: 1984
- Stranger Things 3: The Game
- Shooting Hoops
- Card Blast
- Teeter Up
Apart from these five games, Netflix has also announced a new game Hextech Mayhem: A League of Legends Story, that will cost $10 on PC and Steam but for free on mobile if you have an active Netflix subscription.

There have been some doubts as Apple’s App Store policies have gotten in the way of other gaming services. Other gaming services like Microsoft xCloud, Facebook Gaming, Google Stadia, and Nvidia GeForce Now couldn’t make their way to the App Store. They had to use a workaround by introducing web applications.
In the future, we will be getting more games from Netflix Originals based on its popular titles.
So that’s been it. Thank you for reading, and do share the article if you get a bit piece of information. Also, keep an eye on this space for more relevant updates. Stay safe, and we hope to see you around.
