Sony officially announced that PlayStation 5 will be available from November 12th. PlayStation 5 Prices are Out. There is no clue till now about the Indian pricing or release in India. Playstation 5 will be available in two versions one will be the Digital Edition and another Traditional PS5.
The Digital Edition PS5 will be having all the features of the PS5, but there will be no Disc Reader. So games can be played only by downloading them into PS5. Let’s talk about the specifications now:
Both the PS5 supports games until 4K@60fps,upto 120fps. They have Custom 8-core AMD Zen 2 CPU @ 3.5GHz with SMT (variable frequency). They both have 16GB GDDR6 Ram with 825GB PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD storage. The PS5 supports 4K UHD Blueray discs also. The GPU used is Custom AMD RDNA 2 GPU 36 CUs @ 2.23GHz (variable frequency).
Price and Availability:
Sony PS5 will be available at $499.99, and the Digital Edition will be $399.99. The Indian prices are yet to be released. The Sony PlayStation 5 will be available from November 12th, 2020 in the US, Japan, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, and South Korea. It will be available from November 19th, 2020 to the Rest of the World. Preordering has already started from today at Selected Retailers.

There will be some games launching along with the PS5, and Sony claims that they are the best lineup they have ever seen in PlayStation. Games releasing with PlayStation 5 are:
- Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition (Capcom)
- Final Fantasy XVI (Square Enix)
- Five Nights at Freddy’s Security Breach (Steel Wool Studios and ScottGames)
- Hogwarts Legacy (Warner Bros. Games)
- New God of War title (Santa Monica Studio)
- Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales
- Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War, and
- Demon’s Souls
