Sony will launch PlayStation 5 in India on February 2; pre-orders will start from January 12 at 12 PM IST. Sony had officially announced the update on the PlayStation India official Twitter page. The PS5 India launch is expected in late 2020 but delayed due to a funny trademark issue. However, Sony fixed the problem and came up with good news on this new year’s day. Sony said the pre-orders would go on until the stock lasts.
The PS5 shall be available for pre-orders at Amazon, Flipkart, Croma, Reliance Digital, Game The Shop, Shop at Sony Center, Vijay Sales, and other authorized retailers.

If you don’t already know, the company delayed the PS5 India launch as it did not hold the ‘PS5’ trademark in India. As per the report, a Delhi-based man, Hitesh Aswani, filed for the trademark “PS5” on October 29, 2019, before Sony. Whereas Sony filed for it on February 28, 2020. You might already get what had happened. However, Sony somehow sorted the issue and ready for the PS5 launch in India after three months of its global launch.
