Pokemon GO All-Hands Rocket Retreat Event Adds Salandit and Salazzle

Niantic brings another Team GO Rocket takeover, and this time they’re using Alolan Shadow Pokémon, thanks to Season of Alola. This special event also adds two new Pokémon. Salandit and Salazzle are making their Pokemon GO debut. In addition, event bonuses, bundles, Field Research encounters, and a lot more are here. So for you to get things ready, here is everything you need to know.

Date + Time

Sunday, April 3, 2022, at 12:00 AM to Thursday, April 7, 2022, at 11:59 PM [local time].

Pokémon Debuts

Salandit and Salazzle make their debuts in Pokemon GO. Salandit will be available to hatch from 12 km Eggs starting with this event. You can use 50 Salandit Candy to evolve female Salandit into Salazzle.

Shadow Latias

The Team GO Rocket boss Giovanni is holding Shadow Latias. Fight him to save Shadow Latias. A new Special Research story will be available at the beginning of this event. Progress through it to receive a Super Rocket Radar to fight Giovanni.

Shadow Pokémon

Team GO Rocket has turned the following Pokémon into Shadow Pokémon. Defeat Team GO Rocket Grunts to save them.

Event bundles

There’ll be a special one-time-purchase event bundle available for 1275 PokéCoins. It contains 10 Max Potions, 10 Max Revives, and 5 Rocket Radars.

Field Research Task Encounters

In addition to new Shadow Pokémon encounters, themed Field Research Tasks are also available. Completing them will reward you the encounters with the Pokémon listed below:
