Niantic is bringing yet another Community Day for April 2022 to Pokemon GO. The April Community Day features Stufful, the Normal, and Fighting-type Flailing Pokémon. Stufful is making its debut in Pokémon GO. It’s an excellent chance for trainers to catch a Shiny Stufful as the chances are high on a Community Day. They can also evolve it to learn the event-exclusive move and take advantage of in-game bonuses. So for you to get things ready, here is everything you need to know.
Date + Time
Saturday, April 23, 2022, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM [local time].
Yeah, it’s a three-hour time frame now. Niantic trimmed it off from six to three hours again. Here’s what Niantic has to say about it:
We also wanted to take a moment to discuss some changes to the Community Day format we’ll be testing. In 2020, we doubled the length of our Community Day events, extending them from three hours to six. Since then, however, we’ve found that only five percent of our Trainers tend to participate in the event for more than three hours.
One of the biggest pieces of positive feedback that we received after January’s three-hour Community Day Classic was that players and community leaders noticed how much more of the community was out and about during the event. So, for Stufful Community Day, we’re returning to three-hour format. Our hope is that doing so will create even more opportunities for Trainers to play together and connect outside as they’re exploring.
We know that Trainers have enjoyed all of the extra resources that can be collected during longer events, so we’re adding some new and exciting perks to Stufful Community Day to give you the ability to collect just as many resources during gameplay. Check them out below!
But, you can still get an exclusive move with evolution until up to two hours afterward, that is 7:00 PM [local time].
Featured Pokémon
The Normal and Fighting-type Pokémon Stufful is the featured Pokémon of April Community Day 2022. Stufful will appear more frequently in the wild during the event. If you’re lucky, you may get a chance to encounter a Shiny Stufful ✨.
Exclusive Move
If you evolve Stufful into Bewear in the event time or up to two hours afterward, the Pokémon evolves knowing the Ultimate Charged Fighting-type Exclusive Move – Drain Punch.
Cute and powerful, Stufful will appear during April’s #PokemonGOCommunityDay!
Stufful, the Flailing Pokémon, is making its debut in Pokémon GO, and if you’re lucky, you might encounter a Shiny one! ✨
