Niantic is to celebrate the release of Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl with a two-part Pokemon GO event. Part-1 features Diamond-themed, and part-2 features Pearl-themed Pokemon. Cresselia is coming back to conquer the gym for five-star raids. I’m dividing the article into two parts, and in this, let’s talk about Part-1: Pokemon GO Brilliant Diamond. Featured Pokémon

The following Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild during the event:

If you’re lucky, you might get a chance to encounter Shiny ✨ versions of all the Pokémon above except for Stunky.

Raids

The following Pokémon will take gyms for raids in the event time frame:

Egg Hatches

The following Pokémon will be hatching from 7 km Eggs that are collected during the event:

Collection Challange

As the costumed Pokémon is making their debut, a Collection Challenge will be available that requires you to catch them all. Complete the challenge to earn 1,000 XP, 3,000 Stardust, and an encounter with Froslass.

Other Bonuses

In addition to even-themed Pokémon encounters, themed Field Research Tasks are also available. Completing them will reward you the encounters with some of the Pearl event-themed Pokémon listed below:
