Niantic has brought a new mega evolution, Mega Ampharos, to Pokémon GO. So Niantic is celebrating its arrival with a special Incense Day event featuring its first form, Mareep. Here is the complete information you need to know prior to the event day.

Sunday, January 24, 2021, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM [local time].
Featured Pokémon and Exclusive Move
As it will be a special Incense Day, you’ll encounter Mareep more frequently when you use an Incense. And if you’re lucky, you may get a chance to encounter and catch a Shiny Mareep.
In addition to that, if you evolve Flaaffy (Mareep’s evolved form) into Ampharos during the event period, it’ll learn the previously Community Day-exclusive move Dragon Pulse.

Mareep isn’t the only Pokémon that attracts to Incense during the event day.
These Electric-type Pokémon will be drawn to Incense from 11 AM to 1 PM and 2 PM to 4 PM during the event period.

Niantic will sell 1 PokéCoin bundle again to pick up in the shop. The bundle features three Incense, allowing you to utilize the Incense Day.
