Niantic is setting up for a two-day event that brings back all the 2020 and 2019 featured Pokémon. This event will be a great time to catch Pokémon from any community day from 2019 and 2020, if you may have missed it. The Pokémon from 2019 and 2020 are more likely to appear in wild and raids. And for a limited time, you may also encounter shiny Pokémon.

December Community Day Featured Pokémon
Niantic is bringing all the featured Pokémon from the past year. The following Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild throughout the weekend:
- Piplup
- Rhyhorn
- Abra
- Seedot
- Weedle
- Gastly
- Magikarp
- Porygon
- Charmander
- Electabuzz
- Magmar
Similarly, Niantic is also bringing featured Pokémon from 2019. On two days of the weekend, they will appear in raids or by hatching 2 km Eggs:

Chances of Shiney Pokémon and timings
On December 12 and 13, the chances are more for you to encounter a Shiny Pokémon from 11 AM to 5 PM of your local time.
On Saturday, December 12:

- Rhyhorn

- Piplup
- Mega Raids:
- Mega Gengar raids will be happening more frequently.
On Sunday, December 13:

Exclusive attacks
When you evolve any of the following Pokémon during the event, they’ll learn an exclusive attack. They may currently learn exclusive attacks from 2019 and 2020 community day events; 2018 will be available in the future, as the team said in a blog post.

Between 11 AM to 5 PM on Community Day event days,
- You’ll get 2× Stardust for capturing a Pokémon.
- Eggs will get hatched at 1/2 the distance when placed into Incubators.
- Incense will remain active for three hours when activated.
