Niantic is bringing the end-year Community Day for December to Pokemon GO. The December Community Day features all the Pokemon from Community days throughout 2021. It’s an excellent chance for trainers to catch Shiny Pokemon if they have missed any of the previous Community Day in 2021. Event-exclusive moves, Special Bonuses, Raids, and a lot more are awaiting December community day 2021 in Pokemon GO. So for you to get things ready, here is everything you need to know.
Date + Time
Unlike other Community Days, the December one is a two-day event.
- Saturday, December 18, 2021, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM [local time]
- Sunday, December 19, 2021, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM [local time]

The following Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild on Saturday, December 18:
- Machop
- Roselia
- Swablu
- Gible

- Fletchling
The following Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild on Sunday, December 19:

- 25% reduced stardust cost for trades
- 1 extra special trade per day

Pokemon GO December Community Day 2021 Special Research
On Community Day, Niantic offers an event-exclusive special research story called “December Community Day 2021”. Access to this special research story will be available in the in-game shop for US$1.
Other Bonuses
In addition to all the featured Pokémon frequent encounters, Niantic will be bringing a few more bonuses too.
- A giveaway of 30 Ultra Balls in the shop for free. Be sure to take it.
- The Incense used during the event will remain active for three hours rather than the usual one hour.
- Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours.
Additionally, there’ll be a one-time purchase of the Community Day Box available for 1,280 PokéCoins. That includes 50 Ultra Balls, 6 Star Pieces, an Elite Fast TM, and an Elite Charged TM.
