Niantic is bringing yet another event for Season of Mischief, the Fashion Week to Pokemon GO. Furfrou making its first Pokémon GO appearance with many of its forms, Meloetta will be available for everyone, new Form Change mechanism, and a lot more coming. So for you to get things ready, here is everything you need to know.
Date + Time
Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at 10:00 AM to Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at 8:00 PM [local time].
Featured Pokémon
Furfrou, the Poodle Pokémon, along with many of its forms, is making its Pokémon GO debut during the Fashion Week event. The natural form of Furfrou will be available globally, and its other different forms will be available to change form in specific regions around the world. Please refer to the bottom of this article to find out how the new Form Change mechanism works.
Check out all the forms available in Pokémon GO and to which form you can change based on your location:
- Natural Form: Available in the wild globally
- Matron Trim: Available as a form change globally
- Dandy Trim: Available as a form change globally
- Debutante Trim: Available as a form change in the Americas
- Diamond Trim: Available as a form change in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa
- Star Trim: Available as a form change in the Asia-Pacific
- La Reine Trim: Available as a form change in France
- Kabuki Trim: Available as a form change in Japan
- Pharaoh Trim: Available as a Form change in Egypt
- Heart Trim: Niantic yet to announce.
In addition to the Natural Form of Furfrou encounters, the following Pokémon wearing fashionable costumes also appear in the wild:
- Sneasel
- Blitzle
- Smoochum
- Kirlia
- Shinx
- Croagunk
- Butterfree Rare
If you’re lucky, you may get a chance to encounter Shiny Butterfree, Shiny Sneasel, Shiny Smoochum, Shiny Kirlia, Shiny Shinx, Shiny Croagunk, or Shiny Blitzle. All the shiny encounters will have costumes too.
Raids
The following Pokémon will appear in raids throughout the event:
- One-star Raids
- Sneasel (Costumed)
- Shinx (Costumed)
- Three-star Raids
- Butterfree (Costumed)
- Kirlia (Costumed)
- Five-star and Mega Raids
Egg Hatches
The following Pokémon will be hatching from 7 km Eggs collected during the event:
- Alolan Meowth
- Galarian Meowth
- Smoochum (Costumed)
- Shinx (Costumed)
Other Bonuses
Meloetta will be available to all the trainers through Special Research. Trainers who have already caught Meloetta during Pokémon GO Fest 2021 can have Meloetta Candy instead.
Fashionable Trainers with fashionable Pokémon will appear at PokéStops throughout the event. Challenge these Trainers to earn rewards.
Event-exclusive Timed Research will be available during the event. Completing them rewards you the encounters with fashionable event-themed Pokémon and other avatar items.

New Form Change feature
In addition to Furfrou’s debut in Pokemon GO, the Fashion Week also brings a new Form Change feature to change the form of certain Pokémon in the game. Here’s how it works:
- Select Furfrou in your Pokémon storage.
- Click on the Change Form button (which replaced evolve button for certain Pokémon).
- Select the preferred Form or Trim.
- Changing your Furfrou from one Trim to other will cost 25 Furfrou Candy and 10,000 Stardust.
