Pokémon GO February Community Day 2021 - Roselia

As we had talked earlier, February is a great time for all the Pokémon GO trainers out there. Niantic is bringing yet another Community Day event to Pokémon GO for February. So for you to get things ready, here is everything you need to know.

Date + Time

Sunday, February 7, 2021, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM [local time].

It is now a six-hour time frame. Also, you can still get an exclusive move with evolution up to two hours afterward, that is 7:00 PM [local time].

February Community Day Featured Pokémon

The Grass/Poison-type Pokémon Roselia is the featured Pokémon of this month’s Community Day. Roselia will appear more frequently in the wild. You may get a chance to encounter a Shiny Roselia if you’re lucky. Great opportunity for trainers to get better and/or shiny Roselia if they already had one.

February Community Day Exclusive Move

If you evolve Roselia into Roserade (Final evolution) in the event time or up to two hours afterward, it’ll learn not one but two event-exclusive moves: the Fast Attack Bullet Seed and the Charged Attack Weather Ball.

Community Day Special Research

On this month’s Community Day, Niantic offers an event-exclusive special research story called ‘Stop and Smell the Roselia.’ Access to this special research story will be available in the in-game shop for US$1. Remember, if you purchase a ticket for the Pokémon GO Tour: Kanto event by Wednesday, February 3, 2021, at 11:59 PM PST (GMT −8), you’ll get this Special Research story for free.

In addition to the paid Research Story, event-exclusive Timed Research tasks will also be available during Pokémon GO February Community Day. Completing these tasks will bring you various rewards, including Sinnoh Stones, which are required to evolve Roselia into Roserade.

Other Bonuses

In addition to Roselia’s frequent encounters, two more in-game bonuses stay active throughout the event time frame. First, Eggs placed during the event will hatch at a quarter of their usual distance. Second, the Incense used during the event will last for not two but three hours, whereas its usual time is just 1 hour.

Additionally, there’ll be a one-time purchase of the Roselia Community Day Box at 1,280 PokéCoins. That includes an Elite Fast TM, 4 Incense, 4 Super Incubators, 30 Ultra Balls.
