After a long wait, Pokémon GO players are getting the Gible Community Day. A great chance for trainers to catch a Shiny Gible as the chances are high on a Community Day. They can also evolve it to learn event-exclusive moves and take advantage of in-game bonuses. So for you to get things ready, here is everything you need to know.
Date + Time
Sunday, June 6, 2021, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM [local time].
It is a six-hour time frame. But, you can still get an exclusive move with evolution, up to two hours afterward, that is 7:00 PM [local time].
Featured Pokémon
The Dragon and Ground-type Pokémon Gible is the featured Pokémon of June’s Community Day. Gible will appear more frequently in the wild during the event time frame. If you’re lucky, you may get a chance to encounter a Shiny Gible ✨. It’s a great opportunity for trainers to catch better and/or Shiny Gible.
Exclusive Move
If you evolve Gabite (Gible’s Evolution) into Garchomp in the event time or up to two hours afterward. The Pokémon evolves with knowing the Charged Ground-type Exclusive Move – Earth Power.

Community Day Special Research
On this month’s Community Day, Niantic offers an event-exclusive special research story called ‘Just a Nibble’ Access to this special research story will be available in the in-game shop for US$1.
Other Bonuses
In addition to Gible’s frequent encounters, two more in-game bonuses stay active throughout the event time frame. First, trainers get three times the catch XP than usual (3x Catch XP) during the event period. Second, the Incense you use during the event will also remain active for three hours rather than the usual one hour.
Additionally, there’ll be a one-time purchase of the Community Day Box available for 1,280 PokéCoins. That includes 50 Ultra Balls, 5 Lucky Eggs, 5 Incense, and an Elite Charged TM.
