Niantic is bringing yet another Community Day for November to Pokemon GO. The November Community Day features Shinx, the Electric-type Flash Pokémon. It’s an excellent chance for trainers to catch a Shiny Shinx as the chances are high on a Community Day. They can also evolve it to learn the event-exclusive move and take advantage of in-game bonuses. So for you to get things ready, here is everything you need to know.
Date + Time
Sunday, November 21, 2021, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM [local time].
It is a six-hour time frame. But, you can still get an exclusive move with evolution, up to two hours afterward, that is 7:00 PM [local time].
Featured Pokémon
The Electric-type Pokémon Shinx is the featured Pokémon of November Community Day 2021. Shinx will appear more frequently in the wild during the event. If you’re lucky, you may get a chance to encounter a Shiny Shinx ✨. It’s an excellent opportunity for trainers to catch better and/or Shiny Shinx.
Exclusive Move
If you evolve Luxio (Shinx’s Evolution) into Luxray in the event time or up to two hours afterward, the Pokémon evolves knowing the Ultimate Charged Psychic-type Exclusive Move – Psychic Fangs.
This new Charged Attack – Psychic Fangs will allow Luxray to lower the Defense of opposing Pokémon and inflict supereffective damage on Fighting- and Poison-type Pokémon.

Pokémon GO Shinx Community Day Special Research
On this month’s Community Day, Niantic offers an event-exclusive special research story called “Flash, Spark, and Gleam”. Access to this special research story will be available in the in-game shop for US$1.
Other Bonuses
In addition to Shinx’s frequent encounters, Niantic will be bringing a few more bonuses too.
- 1/4 Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed in an Incubator during the event period.
- Trainers get three times the Candy than usual when they transfer the Pokémon (3x Transfer Candy) during the event period.
- 4× chance of earning Candy XL when transferring Pokémon
- A giveaway of 30 Ultra Balls in the shop for free. Be sure to take it.
- The Incense used during the event will remain active for three hours rather than the usual one hour.
- Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours.
Additionally, there’ll be a one-time purchase of the Community Day Box available for 1,280 PokéCoins. That includes 50 Ultra Balls, 4 Star Pieces, 4 Incense, and an Elite Charged TM.
