Niantic has announced the Pokémon GO Rivals’ Week event, which features Pokémon that have rivalries with each other. Therian Forme Landorus will arrive during the event to take five-star raids. They’re also bringing two new Gen 6 Pokémon Skrelp and Clauncher. Featured Pokémon, Raids, Global Challenge, Bonuses, and a pretty lot more coming. So for you to get things ready, here’s everything you need to know.

Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at 10:00 AM to Sunday, April 18, 2021, at 8:00 PM [local time].
Featured Pokémon
During the event time frame, the Pokémon that have rivalries with each other will appear more frequently in the wild:
- Hitmonchan
- Hitmonlee
- Makuhita
- Meditite
- Zangoose
- Seviper, and more
Skrelp and Clauncher are making their first-time appearance in Pokémon GO. They’ll appear in the wild as well as in one-star raids. Above all, Nidoking and Nidoqueen, and other the rivalry Pokémon will also take the three-star raids during the event time-frame.

Egg Hatches
The following Pokémon will be hatching more often from 5 km Eggs during the event:
- Machop
- Tyrogue
- Elekid
- Magby
- Makuhita
- Meditite
- Zangoose
- Seviper
Pokémon GO Rivals’ Week Global Challange
A new global challenge to hit Global Challange Arena, one can find in Today’s section. Trainer all around the world can work together to complete it. And it will unlock double the stardust for catching a Pokémon for the duration of the event.
Other Bonuses
In addition to the increased Pokémon spawns, Team GO Rocket will be taking over PokéStops more often, and their balloons will also be appearing more frequently throughout the Rivals’ Week event.
Niantic will also offer event-exclusive Field Research tasks. Completing will lead to encounters with rival Pokémon, such as Skrelp and Clauncher, as well. You can read more details on the Pokémon GO blog.
