Niantic is bringing Therian Legendaries to Pokémon GO for the first time ever. A great chance for trainers to catch and fill their Pokédexes. March, April, and May will be the Raids’ special season, mostly for Legendary Pokémon, so they call it the Season of Legends. Along with those, there are a lot of things that are scheduled for March. So for you to get things ready, here is everything you need to know.

Featured Legendary Raids
During the Season of Legends, the Incarnate and Therian forms of Tornadus, Thundurus, and Landorus will appear as five-star raids at specific times in a weekly manner. Niantic also teases that some other Legendary Pokémon will appear in Pokémon GO during the season; they’re yet to update. They also mentioned some new “Mega-Evolved Pokémon will be making their Pokémon GO debut over the course of the season.”

Featured Pokémon
Different kinds of Pokémon will appear in different habitats in the wild. For example, Water-type like Mantine and Frillish will appear near water bodies, Grass-type like Hoppip will appear in grassy or forest regions, and Voltorb and Glameow will appear in the city.
Niantic is also bringing Hemisphere-exclusive Pokémon, which will appear in the wild depending on your hemisphere. Here is the list of Pokémon that will be exclusive to the northern and southern hemispheres.

Researches and Other Bonuses
Above all, Niantic is bringing a special research story that revolves around the Therian Legendaries in Pokémon GO. By completing the research, you’ll earn Candy for each of the Legendaries along with other rewards.
Niantic is also increasing the amount of XP players will earn from five-star Raids for this season. In addition, free Remote Raid Passes will be available at certain times during the Season. So just keep an eye on the in-game Shop.
