Niantic is bringing a Special Raid Weekend to Pokemon GO. During that time, Raids will be happening more frequently, including five-star Legendary Raids and Mega Raids. That’s not all; there are some bonuses too. So for you to get things ready, here’s everything you need to know.
Date + Time
Saturday, June 12, 2021, at 10:00 AM to Sunday, June 13, 2021, at 8:00 PM [local time].
Not just a Raid Hour
It’s not just a Raid Hour; it is an entire Raid Weekend. All the raids, including five-star raids and mega raids, hit gyms more frequently. The Regi Trio — Regirock, Regice, Registeel will hit five-star raids, and Mega Slowbro will hit mega raids more frequently. So you’ll have more chances to battle and catch them.
Special Bonuses
You’ll earn twice the Candy for catching a Pokémon. And that bonus will stay active throughout the weekend time frame mentioned above.
In addition, Trainers of Level 40 and above will have three times the chances of obtaining a Candy XL when they catch a Pokémon.
