Niantic brings Spring to Pokemon GO this season. The Pokemon GO Spring Event adds Tapu Bulu to the five-star raids. In addition, it’s also bringing event-themed featured costume-Pokémon, Special Research Story. Go Battle League to take place, event bonuses, Field Research encounters, and a lot more are coming. So for you to get things ready, here is everything you need to know.

Wild Encounters
The following Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild during the event:

Tapu Bulu is making its debut in Pokemon GO during this Spring event.

Ula’ula Island Special Research
The Season of Alola’s second Special Research story will be available at the beginning of this event and till June 1.
Completing all the Season of Alola Island special research lines before June 1 will reward you with a bonus special research line.
Collection Challenge
A Collection Challenge to collect event-themed Pokémon will be available during the event. Completing the challenge will reward you 2000 XP, 2000 Stardust, and an encounter with Togetic wearing a flower crown.
Limited Research day: An Egg-citing Spring Surprise
From Saturday, April 16, 2022, 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM Limited Research tasks will be available when you spin Photo Discs at PokéStops. Complete them to encounter Exeggcute. And during that time frame, if you evolve the exeggcute, you’ll get Alolan Exeggcutor that knows Dragon-type Charged Attack Draco Meteor.
During this three-hour limited research day, you’ll encounter Bulbasaur, Oddish, Paras, Bellsprout, Tangela, Chikorita, Sunkern, Treecko, and Seedot more frequently in the wild. In addition, the 2× Catch XP bonus will stay active in the three-hour time frame.
Field Research task encounters
In addition to even-themed Pokémon encounters, themed Field Research Tasks are also available. Completing them will reward you the encounters with the Pokémon listed below:
- Eevee wearing a flower crown
- Pikachu wearing a flower crown
- Buneary wearing a flower crown
- Chansey wearing a flower crown Rare
Bonuses
- 2× Hatch Candy
- 1/2 Hatch Distance
- 2× Lucky Egg Duration
- Team GO Rocket grunts will hold more Shadow Whismur and Shadow Exeggcute.
