Niantic brings Sustainability Week 2022 event to Pokemon GO this season. Oranguru, the sage Pokémon, makes its debut in Pokemon GO during this event. It’s also bringing Shiny Cherubi for the first time to Pokemon GO. In addition, featured Pokémon, event bonuses, Egg Hatches, Field Research encounters, and a lot more are coming. Featured Pokémon
Pokémon debuts
Oranguru, the Sage Pokémon, makes its first appearance in Pokemon GO during the Sustainability Week 2022 event.
In addition, Shiny Cherubi is also making its Pokémon GO debut.
Wild Encounters
The following Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild during the event:

The following Pokémon will hatch from 7km Eggs collected during the event:

Attracted to Mossy Lure Modules

Free bundle
The Event Box bundle containing Mossy Lure Module will be available in the in-game shop at no cost throughout the event.
Collection Challenge
A Collection Challenge will be available to collect event-themed Pokémon. Completing it rewards you with an Elite Collector medal, a Mossy Lure Module, and 15 Great Balls.
Gloom and Weepinbell are part of the Collection Challenge and will only appear while using a Mossy Lure Module.
Field Research task encounters
In addition to even-themed Pokémon encounters, themed Field Research Tasks are also available. Completing them rewards you with Mega Venusaur Energy or Mega Abomasnow Energy or the encounters with the Pokémon listed below:
- Turtwig
- Cherubi
- Snivy
- Trubbish
- Chespin
- Phantump
Bonuses
- On Saturday, April 23, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM local time, a Timed Research will be available to complete on this Community Day. Each phase will require you to adventure 1 km, and doing so will earn you an encounter with Cherubi.
During the entire day of April 23, 2022, every Trainer who adventures 5 km during Community Day, Niantic will plant a tree (up to 100,000 trees). So get exploring!
