Pokémon GO Team GO Rocket Celebration – Everything you need to know

Ahead of Feb Community Day, Team GO Rocket is celebrating.

Pokémon GO Team GO Rocket Celebration Event

In the middle of Johto Celebration Event and the legendary beast trio, Niantic is bringing another event to Pokémon GO, which is themed over Team GO Rocket. They call it Team GO Rocket is celebrating now. During the multiple events that are happening already another one wasn’t less exciting. So for you to get things ready, here is everything you need to know prior to the 6-day event.

Date + Time

Tuesday, February 2, 2021, at 10:00 AM to Sunday, February 7, 2021, at 8:00 AM [local time].

Featured Shadow Pokémon

Team GO Rocket Grunts will have new and different teams of Pokémon during and after the event. They are also turning these Pokémon into Shadow Pokémon:

You’ll also receive a Team GO Rocket Leader Gift sticker by defeating a Team GO Rocket Leader during the event.

During the event time, these Pokémon will appear more frequently in the Wild than usual:

During and after the event time, the following Pokémon will be hatching from Strange Eggs (12KM, get one by defeating a Team GO Rocket Leader):

In addition, these Pokémon will appear in raids:

Other Bonuses

Finally, eggs you place in Incubators during the event will hatch at half the distance they usually require.

In addition to all above, Event-exclusive Field Research and Timed Research will be available. However, The Team GO Rocket–themed Timed Research is already available, which will reward encounter with Ho-Oh that knows Earthquake.
