Niantic to celebrate Valentine’s Day 2022 with a Pokemon GO event. The special event brings Valentine’s Day–theme to the game with featured Pokémon, Collection challenges, and more. Registeel is coming back to conquer gyms for Legendary five-star raids. In addition, event bonuses, Raids, Featured Pokémon, Field Research encounters, and a lot more are coming. Pokémon Debuts
Flabébé, Floette, and Florges make their debuts in Pokémon GO during the event. Flabébé can evolve into Floette with 25 Flabébé Candy. Floette can evolve into Florges with 100 Flabébé Candy after you earn 20 hearts with it as your buddy.
Flabébé will be available in the wild in five different colors: red, yellow, orange, blue, and white.
In addition to Flabébé’s debut, for the duration of the Valentine’s Day event, you’ll be able to change your Natural Form Furfrou to Heart Trim Furfrou.

A Global Valentine’s Challenge!
Available from Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at 12:00 PM PST (GMT -8), to Tuesday, February 15, at 12:00 AM PST (GMT -8).
The Pokemon GO Valentine’s Day 2022 event brings a themed Global Challenge that enables trainers all over the world to work together and send gifts to their friends to reach the below goal. Completing the Global Challenge Goal rewards bonus to stay till the remaining period till February 15, at 12:00 AM PST.
Global Challenge Goal: Send 70,000,000 Gifts
Global Challenge Bonus: 3× Transfer Candy
Collection Challenges
The event will feature two Valentine’s Day-themed Collection Challenges. Complete the Collection Challenges to encounter a female Frillish and a male Frillish.
Field Research Task Encounters
In addition to even-themed Pokémon encounters, themed Field Research Tasks are also available. Completing them will reward you the encounters with some of the event-themed Pokémon listed below:

Bonuses
The following bonuses will stay active throughout the event:
- Evolve Kirlia during the event to get a Gallade or Gardevoir that knows the Charged Attack Synchronoise.
- Gallade and Gardevoir encountered after raids will also know Synchronoise.
- 2× Lure Module duration.
- 2× Catch Candy.
- Your Buddy Pokémon will bring you items more often.
