FAU-G, the Indian war game, also been said the PUBG rival, is live for pre-registration from December 1, last year. It’s been a month, and they are up again with a launch date this time. The nCORE Games confirmed that FAU-G would officially release on January 26, 2021. As the company uses the ‘Made in India’ terms more likely, they chose the date of Indian Republic Day to launch the game. Here is the official announcement they’ve made taking the Twitter.
What will you do when they come? We will hold our ground & fight back, because we are Fearless. United. Unstoppable FAU:G! Witness the anthem 🦁 FAU:G! #FAUG #nCore_Games

The launch date announcement also showcased a video, which shows the new gameplay shots and in-game cinematic cuts. Last year, Akshay Kumar announced the Made-in-India war game. The game was supposed to release by end-October, 2020. Instead, they released a trailer on October 25, mentioning the November release. Later they made preregistration live in December and announced the launch date now, January 26.
FAU-G Game Description
The trailer is based on the ‘Galwan Valley’ clashes with China as the board reads at the teaser’s first part. But in the game description, there is no specific mention of ‘Galwan Valley.’ It reads,
High up on the peaks at India’s northern border, an elite fighting group protects the nation’s pride and sovereignty. It’s a daunting task, for the most courageous: The Fearless and United Guards.
The description further reads, “Join a special unit of FAU-G commandos on patrol in dangerous border territory. Come face-to-face with India’s enemies as you engage with hostile invaders on Indian soil. Fight for survival against the unforgiving terrain and the implacable enemy. Fill the shoes of a patriotic soldier and experience the bravery, brotherhood, and sacrifice of the men guarding the country’s borders.”
FAU-G, A real PUBG Rival?
nCORE Games collaborated with Akshay Kumar grabbed an opportunity to present their ‘Made in India’ game, as PUBG Mobile was banned by the Indian Government back then. Last year, PUBG Mobile India officially registered itself as an Indian company. But recently, the Indian government rejected its permission to launch any website/application/service in India. So with no launch of it, there is no rivalry in the first place. But if it did try to come back, FAU-G may struggle if it targets the same audience. PUBG Mobile, with a great history and player-base, will not give a chance, as I assume. However, its comeback seems to be not in any near.
