Niantic is bringing back the Legendary Sky High Pokémon Rayquaza, one of the finest Dragon-type Pokémon. Yeah, that’s true; Rayquaza will return to raids during the Pokémon GO Weather Week event for a limited time. After the Charge Up event, Pokémon GO is adding the first-ever Weather Week event. During the Weather Week, Pokémon that enjoy rainy or windy conditions will be appearing more often in the wild. So for you to get things ready, here’s everything you need to know.

Rayquaza will be appearing in five-star raids alongside Therian Forme Thundurus during the weekend (above time-frame).
Featured Pokémon
Castform(Rain Form) will be appearing more frequently in the wild throughout the Weather Week event. If you’re lucky, you might encounter a Shiny Castform ✨. Along with that, Pokémon that appear during rainy or windy conditions, such as Wingull and Ducklett, are also featured during this event.
Psyduck, Poliwag, Swablu, Drifloon, Mantyke, Tympole, and Ducklett will be hatching from 5 km Eggs collected during the event time-frame.

- Pokémon that enjoy rainy conditions like Vaporeon, Lotad, Stunfisk and more will be appearing more frequently in the wild.

- Pokémon that enjoy windy conditions like Skarmory, Taillow, Pidove and more will be appearing more frequently in the wild.
Exclusive Move
As Rayquaza will be available during the limited time-frame, encountered and caught will know the attack Hurricane during this time.

- During the Weather Week event, Catching Pokémon with Weather Boost will get you extra Stardust.
- New spring-themed avatar items will be available in the in-game shop.
- Completing event-exclusive Field Research and Timed Research, you may encounter more Rainy Form Castform, so more chances of catching a Shiny one.
