PlayStation VR or PS VR will be receiving some new cool games later this year. Sony has announced 6 games in total that will be coming to the PS VR this year. Sony introduced the PlayStation VR more than 4 years ago for PS4(PlayStation 4) players to experience VR gaming. Now Sony has brought the same and even more enhanced experience to PlayStation 5. All these games will be available for their latest PlayStation 5, and only some will be available for PlayStation 4.
The 6 games coming to PS VR are Doom 3: VR Edition, Song in the smoke, After the Fall, I Expect You To Die 2: The Spy and The Liar, and Zenith. The announcement was made on the official PlayStation Blog. Sony Mentions that these games are being released promises to have a better gameplay experience when Sony launches a new PSVR headset in the coming days. Sony in February mentioned that it is working on a new VR Headset for PlayStation 5, but it won’t be coming in 2021.
Doom 3: VR Edition
The game will be arriving on March 29th for PlayStation 4 with backward compatibility on PlayStation 5. This is the only game that has a perfect release date. Doom 3: VR Edition is also one of the 2 games coming to PlayStation 4. The Aim controller is designed to work as a gun in this game. The game has a 180-degree quick turn to catch up with the demon sneaking up from behind.
Song in the Smoke
This is a PS VR survival game developed by 17-BIT. This game tests your ability to survive across the forest with abilities to hunt, scavenge, craft, and explore. There is no perfect date for this game but the game has worth to wait. It enables human instincts in the virtual world where you can fight or flight.
Fracked:
Fracked is a VR-made action-adventure game coming in this summer to PS VR. The game is a fast-paced, 1:1 run and cover gunplay adventure. It also has free-running, skiing, and climbing in the game that has never been seen in VR before.
I Expect You To Die 2: The Spy And The Liar
The most famous game to have a sequel after its first release in 2016. The sequel to the game is coming later this year. The game is a spy adventure game that makes you live the dream of James Bond. The developers say they have plenty of surprises as the game gets nearer to the release date.
Zenith: The Last City – The Fracture
This is an anime RPG MMO game by RamenVR. This is an open-world game where players can climb anything using their hands. You can climb a cliff or skyscrapers to discover secret places and treasures. The game also has a Massively Multiplayer where you can battle with other players or friends.
After the Fall:
From the makers of Arizona Sunshine, After the Fall is a fast-paced co-op FPS action game. This game is set in a post-apocalyptic world where the user has to fight for survival from creatures. The game will be having cross-platform multiplayer support and is coming soon to PS VR.
