The Game Awards 2021 Nominations Announced: Deathloop Leads With 9

Along with Deathloop, Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, and It Takes Two were among the top nominees.

Geoff Keighley, host and creator of The Game Awards, announced the 2021 Game Awards nominees.  The Game Awards 2021 will broadcast live from Microsoft Theater, Los Angeles, on December 9.

Six of the top games include Deathloop, Psychonauts 2, It Takes Two, Resident Evil: Village, Metroid Dread, and Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, nominated for Game of the Year.

Deathloop from Arkane Studios topped the nominees with a total of 9 nominations, including Game of the Year and Best Game Direction.

The newly combined Xbox Game Studios and Bethesda is the most nominated publisher this year, with 20 nominations across several categories of games. Sony Interactive Entertainment is up next with 11 nominations, followed by SQUARE ENIX and Electronic Arts with 10 nominations each.
