League of Legends game developer Riot games has last year released a tactical shooter game Valorant. The game has got the attention and popularity of many gamers around the world. The game has completed its first anniversary recently, and on this occasion, Riot games have given this information. The developers have confirmed that they will be coming to mobile gaming with the Valorant Mobile version.
For those who have no idea about Valorant, it is an online FPS shooting game where players have special abilities. The game is an inspiration from popular titles like CS: GO and Overwatch. This is also one of the reasons for the game to gain much popularity. We knew that the developers are planning to release a console version of the game. Before the official confirmation from Riot Games, some of the code diggers confirmed that the Valorant Mobile version would be coming soon.
Now, as everything is official, let’s talk about the official stuff. The Executive producer of the Valorant game Anna Donlon says that the mobile version will not affect the PC version. She didn’t mention much information about the game or when it will be available, or even about its features. She just said that they didn’t want to compromise regarding the experience of the mobile gamers.
“We didn’t start out with ‘We’re making Valorant on mobile,’ we started out with ‘Can we make Valorant on mobile?’ with a lot of skepticism,” Donlon said. “For us, whatever you get out of playing on PC, you should get out of playing Valorant on mobile. But we have to recognize that the mobile player need is different.”
They promise not to deliver a bad experience for the mobile gamers with the Valorant Mobile. This doesn’t mean they will compromise on the PC version of the game. Donlon mentions they want to give the best experience in whichever platform the users are playing. She cites a hint that the game might come from the second anniversary.
Along with this, they have announced a new cinematic video with an exclusive game player card.
