Valve has officially announced the Steam Deck, a handheld full gaming PC. After all the rumors about a handheld gaming PC, Valve is now finally bringing it to us. It might look like a regular handheld gaming console, but it is Steam OS-powered Gaming PC. You can play almost all of the PC games available in Steam on Steam Deck.
Steam Deck runs a modified version of Valve’s Steam OS; it fits into the handheld with the console-like user interface. The form factor of Steam Deck is much similar to Nintendo Switch and sightly larger with the capabilities of a full gaming PC. Steam OS provides easy navigation of Steam store and Steam library.
It also provides access to a computer desktop; any third-party applications can be installed in it, including the games that are not available on Steam games.
