Android 12 will let users play games while downloading them

Google is bringing many feature changes and mostly UI changes in their upcoming Android 12. The beta version of the Android 12 has already been released. After many years we have got to see a fresh change in the UI of the Android. On Monday Google has announced a big new feature that will be coming to Android 12. This new feature will let gamers play the games while downloading it in Android 12.

This feature will be mostly useful for the games with large file.  We don’t need to wait for the full game to download as it would take more time. So this means while the gaming is downloading in the background you can start playing it. Google says by using this feature it will be able to open the game at least 2 times faster. You can observe the difference of with the gif shared by Google.

Game developers in order to have this feature just need to use the Play asset delivery system. After using this system provided by Google there is nothing additional needed to turn the feature on. This announcement is a part of the Google for Gamers Developer Summit 2021. This event is a two day event starting from July 12th to 13th. In addition to this feature Google also announced a new gaming dashboard for Android 12. This new dashboard will provide you easy access to features like screen capture and recording.

The new dashboard feature will be coming to only selected devices later this year as per Google. For now Android 12 is still in the Beta phase and might still be getting more additional features.
