Apple has started production of iPhone 13 in India. Apple has been doing trail production since December 2021. As per the initial plans of Apple the production of iPhone 13 should be starting by February but it is now two months later. So, from now on iPhone 13 will be Made in India.
As soon as we hear iPhone made in India the first question we get is how much lesser the price will be. Well sorry to disappoint you but Apple is not reducing the prices for iPhone 13 that are Made in India. So even if you buy an iPhone 13 Made in India or not you will have to pay the same price. But you can expect some discounts in online shopping sites. If you are waiting for the prices of iPhone 13 to reduce then you will have to wait till the launch of iPhone 14 in September.
We will have production of only the iPhone 13 and not the Pro models. The reason for this is that the Pro models will be requiring components that needs to be imported or are costly to make from raw materials. And moreover the demand for the Pro models is less compared to the regular phones. This will be the sixth model that Apple is manufacturing in India after the previous addition of iPhone 12.
