We are approaching that time of the year when Apple launches a new iPhone series. Even before the iPhone 13, we already got some leaks for iPhone 14. There have been many leaks and renders about the iPhone 14, and we will get more as the launch gets closer. However, before we talk about the leaks of the iPhone 14, we have news regarding its production. Apple will be starting the production of the iPhone 14 in India simultaneously with China.
The production in India will be after a quarter or two since the launch of the new iPhone model. The Foxconn plant in Tamilnadu will do this production for this iPhone 14. The first thing that comes into mind after hearing about its production in India is will the price be lesser as the manufacturing is happening in India. If you look at the history of prices of the iPhone in India, there is not much change. Keeping that in mind, don’t hope for a drastic change in the pricing of the iPhone 14 in India.
Ming-Chi Kuo, a Renowned Apple analyst, shared the news on his Twitter account this Friday. By looking at the Tweet, only the production of the 6.1 inches iPhone 14 will be manufactured in India, and other models will be imported as usual.
My latest survey indicates Foxconn’s iPhone production site in India will ship the new 6.1″ iPhone 14 almost simultaneously with China for the first time in 2H22 (India being one quarter or more behind in the past).

Apple has taken this move since it believes India will be a “key growth driver.” The revenue of Apple has grown double in the second quarter of this year, making it believe that India will be another big market.
Leaks and Rumors:
Looking at the leaks, the pricing of the iPhone 14 will be similar to that of the iPhone 13, starting at $799( ~ Rs. 63,200). There will be no “mini” iPhone as Apple is looking to discontinue it. This year Apple is looking to introduce another two models into the iPhone series. They will be known as the “Max,” one in the Pro and one in the non-pro model.
It is speculated that Apple will still be using the A15 bionic chip in the non-pro models. The new A16 bionic chip will be exclusive only to the Pro models. We will now have a complete iPhone series lineup with a 120Hz ProMotion Display (Finally, Apple!!). We have many design renders showing that the iPhone will now be saying goodbye to the prominent notch on its iPhones. The pill+hole cut out on the front will make Apple still unique. We will be getting more leaks as the launch gets official and closer. There is also a rumor that Apple will introduce another AirPods Pro model.
