Google announces its next launch event for its new Pixel devices this fall. Google announces this news in a Tweet mentioning the launch event on October 19th. This virtual event will unveil Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, their new flagship devices. We might also get to see the first smartwatch and a foldable phone from Google.
We have already got a look at the new Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro with a completely fresh design. Google’s Tensor chip will power the phone. This launch event will be taking place on October 19th at 10 AM PDT (10:30 IST). There is still a lot that Google needs to unveil during the launch event apart from processor and design. There are still no words about the Pixel Fold that was rumored to be launched.
Android 12 has also been announced recently, and the Pixel 6 series might come with it in the box. The Pixel fall launch event might also feature a Pixel Watch in the event. Google also has a new microsite for the Pixel launch event that shows different UI elements.
The rumored specifications of the Google Pixel 6 Pro, apart from the SoC, are a triple rear camera setup. While the Google Pixel 6 will be having a dual rear camera setup. The screen size will be 6.7-inch and 6.4-inch for Pixel 6 Pro and Pixel 6, respectively. These phones might also be the first phone from Google to feature an in-display fingerprint scanner. The phone will also support 33W fast charging.
