Another Day another leak about the upcoming Apple iPhone 14 series. This time it is not about the screen or design but about the camera. The latest leaks suggest that Apple might finally move from their 13MP sensor to a bigger 48MP Sensor. The 48MP Sensor will be accompanied by a 12MP ultra-wide camera sensor and a telephoto lens. Another point to note this feature will only be available on the iPhone 14 Pro models only.
The news was reported by macrumours.com who got the news from Jeff Pu. We earlier got the news that Apple is finally planning to remove the notch on its iPhone with 14 series. Pu says that Apple will be using a new camera sensor than its regular one. He says Apple will use a 48 MP ultra sensor that can capture a lot of light than the present sensor used on their latest iPhone 13 series. The 48 MP sensor on Apple iPhone 14 will be supporting an 8K video recording.
Apart from the camera sensor upgrade Pu also mentions that iPhone 14 Pro series will be having 8GB of RAM. He also mentions that iPhone 14 series will all be having a 120Hz display panel. Not sure why the leaks are suggesting many changes for the iPhone 14 series as that is not how Apple works. It always just takes a few steps at a time rather than rushing. If you are observing Apple for the past few years you can notice only rare changes were made to the previous version phones. Although we cannot go with the prediction of Pu as he has a mixed track record.
