After a long time, we get to see some smartphones from Lava international. After Micromax’s comeback in India, it is Lava’s time to make a comeback in the Indian smartphone market. Today Lava has launched four smartphones in the budget segment and a customizable phone. Smartphones have become a part of our life, and it would be great if we get to choose the one that matches our needs. This is the reason why we have so many models of smartphones with different features. Now Lava has taken a step further by letting users select the configuration they would like in a smartphone and pay for them. This is the world’s first customizable smartphone that Lava is talking about.

Configurations:

This phone is called Lava MyZ, which has five parameters to configure the smartphone. These five parameters are RAM, Storage, Rear Camera, Front Camera, and color. In the RAM, you will get options to choose 2GB, 3GB, 4GB, or 6GB. In the storage, you get the chance of either 32, 64, and 128GB of storage. The rear camera has two options, one of which has a triple camera setup with 13MP as primary, 5MP as ultrawide, and 2MP as depth. The second option has a dual-camera design of 13MP as primary and 2MP as depth. In the front camera, you get the options of either 8MP or 16MP sensors.

What if the selection of the RAM and Storage is not sufficient for your usage? For this, Lava came up with a solution of Z-up in which users can upgrade their phone within a year of their purchase. This upgrade will be in both RAM plus Storage, and you have to pay only for the upgrade instead of a new phone. That seems cool, but I would like to see how it works out. I hope to see more options in the future, maybe from more prominent brands.

Pricing:

The pricing of this phone will be done based on the specifications you pick. The minimum price is Rs. 6,999 to a maximum of Rs. 10,500. The phone will be available from January 11th from Lavamobiles.com and soon in offline and other online stores.
