Nothing has finally announced officially it’s next product phone (1). Today in it’s “Truth Event” in which Nothing said to announce it’s upcoming products in 2022. The CEO of the company Carl Pei has announced Nothing OS that will be used in the Nothing phone (1) and will be out in the Summer of 2022.
The event started with Carl Pei thanking everyone that have invested in the company and how they were able to raise funding in the short span of time. The event is one of the most hyped event in recent times with some real talk. Carl mentions how technology has not been innovative as it used to be in the earlier days. The only reason for this according to him is the lack of a perfect “Ecosystem” apart from Apple. When we talk about Ecosystem the first product that gets into our mind is from Apple, the way each of their products connect with each other is not achieved by others. That is the reason why Apple is not focusing on innovation rather it is just iterating the screen size and camera positions.
One of the solution to this is by creating a new Ecosystem outside Apple that is equally connected with products. Nothing is trying to build that one Ecosystem that works just like Apple with it’s own products and also other third party products. To achieve this the next product coming from Nothing is the phone (1). As everyone has been guessing about this from a long time, we now got an official confirmation.
We also got a first look at the design that doesn’t reveal much about the product. Some other details is the phone will be an Android phone and also will have the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Flagship processors. Carl also gave a quick look about the Nothing OS that will be very smooth and quick just made for the Nothing phone (1).
Nothing OS will be out before the phone available for some select phones to try out. The Nothing OS will be a pure Android experience with 40% lesser pre-installed apps. The OS is designed in such a way that it delivers fast, smooth, and seamlessly integrates with software and hardware. It also supports other third party products in a seamless way just like how Apple does with its products.
This is all about the “Truth” that Nothing was looking to tell us all about.
