The upcoming Phone (2) by Nothing will feature a Snapdragon 8 Series chipset instead of a mid-range chipset

Nothing Phone (2)

Nothing a tech brand that got a lot of hype for it’s refreshing design in smartphone. Now, Nothing is set to release their second smartphone, the Nothing Phone (2), and tech enthusiasts are eagerly anticipating what new features and improvements it will bring. According to the latest information revealed at the ongoing MWC 2023 event, the upcoming Phone (2) by Nothing will feature a Snapdragon 8 Series chipset instead of a mid-range chipset.

The Nothing Phone (1) was lauded for its unique design, featuring a semi-transparent case, and innovative Glyph Interface. Nothing’s second smartphone is expected to be software-centric, as suggested by Carl Pei in a previous interview. The phone is also likely to retain the semi-transparent design with the Glyph Interface, which was well-received by users. The company has yet to reveal any specifics, but this is definitely an area to watch. The presence of a Snapdragon 8 Series processor in the Phone (2) could potentially bring about interesting camera features and faster charging capabilities.

However, there are also potential drawbacks to consider with the Phone (2). Nothing is a relatively new player in the smartphone market, and they don’t yet have the same level of brand recognition and customer loyalty as more established companies like Apple and Samsung.

Additionally, the Phone (2) is set to launch in late 2023, which means it will be competing against a new generation of smartphones from other companies that may have even more impressive specs and features. We’ll just have to wait and see what Nothing has in store for us later this year. While the price is currently unknown, Nothing is expected to be competitive with its pricing.
