OnePlus seems to have made a newer strategy to launch their flagship phones. We had a single launch for all the flagship phone series launches until the previous year. This year they have different plans as we got to know the OnePlus 10 Pro and OnePlus 10 will be launching at different times. While the OnePlus 10 Pro will be launching this month in China, there are no words about the OnePlus 10. Meanwhile, some rumors suggest the OnePlus 10 will be having a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC inside.
This makes it the first flagship phone from OnePlus to have a MediaTek chipset instead of the Snapdragon. The MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC is no small as it is a flagship processor from MediaTek. This particular chipset has been first in many things, including the first 4nm chipset for a mobile. Yogesh Brar shared this piece of the leak with the MySmartPrice website through an article.
OnePlus is currently busy promoting the launch of its upcoming OnePlus 10 Pro in China. In India, OnePlus is getting ready to launch its OnePlus 9RT version. This MediaTek chipset is only for the Non-Pro model, while the OnePlus 10 Pro will have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. There is no official confirmation about this news, so we should all consider this a pinch of salt.
Meanwhile, we have also got the first official look at the back of the OnePlus 10 Pro that has a new camera module and Hasselblad branding. The design is no different from the leaks earlier with just the Hasselblad branding. OnePlus has already disappointed its fans with the OxygenOS and ColorOS codebase merge. Hope they get the equation right with the hardware in the OnePlus 10 series.
We’ve worked hard on multiple upgrades to create a truly well-rounded flagship with the OnePlus 10 Pro. Here’s a first look. Personally, I love the refreshed new OnePlus x Hasselblad camera module. pic.twitter.com/M3i5kSHa28

Another note is that OnePlus Nord 2 is the first phone to have a MediaTek Dimensity SoC. Even though the performance and camera quality were good, it has two blasts in which OnePlus hasn’t provided a proper explanation. Just hope the same doesn’t repeat with the upcoming OnePlus 10 having MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC.
So, that’s been it. Thank you for reading, and do share the article if you get a bit of information. Also, keep an eye on this space for more relevant updates. Stay safe, and we hope to see you around.
