OnePlus CEO Pete Lau on Twitter is teasing the ‘Moon Shot’ announcement on March 8th. The company is planning to reveal some features or launch date about their new flagship phone OnePlus 9. Pete Lau also gave a link to a gave where it says “Something New is on the horizon” with the title Moonshot. The photo in the tease looks like an earthrise pic taken from the Moon.
The photo is taken from the Apollo 8 mission using the Hasselblad camera. Earlier in the leaks, we got to see the phone’s back with the Hasselblad logo on the camera module. Since then, rumors have been spreading, and a tech YouTuber also posted the same with some proofs of pics. Hasselblad is not a new company; it is 108 years old Swedish camera company. The company hardly partners with smartphones in making the camera lens.

We can get a hint about one of the lenses in their new OnePlus 9 flagship from the post. Earlier, we saw many companies trying to boast about their zoom camera photography by showing the Moon’s pic. So this might be one of their lenses, the zoom camera for astrophotography.
According to many tipsters, the Company plans to launch three models of the phone OnePlus 9, 9 Pro, and 9R. Tipsters also say that we might even get to see a midrange smartwatch from OnePlus. In Andriod Authority’s words, the new OnePlus 9 will be having a flat 6.55-inch display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The OnePlus 9 Pro will be having a 6.78-inch display with a 120Hz 1440p display. The processor in the phone will be the SnapDragon 888 processor.
