OnePlus 9RT and OnePlus Buds Z2 launch date set in India

Both the phone and earbuds will be launched on January 14th

OnePlus is getting ready to launch its next phone this month. The upcoming phone is the OnePlus 9RT that is the successor to the OnePlus 8T along with it we will see the OnePlus Buds Z2. These both have been in news lately with many leaks and rumours. It is just nearly a week time to witness the official launch of the OnePlus 9RT and OnePlus Buds Z2 as the OnePlus officially revealed the launch date.

Previously the CEO of OnePlus did mention that the OnePlus 10 Pro will be launching this January on Weibo. But that launch seems to be limited only to China. As in India, we are getting launch for the OnePlus 9RT launch that was launched in October 2021 in China. The launch event will be done on January 14th at 5 PM IST on the virtual Winter launch event.

Coming to the specifications and design there is nothing of changes to is regular OnePlus 9. Of course, you will not get the Hasselblad tuned camera system in the OnePlus 9RT. This phone seems to be an upgrade to the OnePlus 9R that was launched along with the OnePlus 9 series. The OnePlus 9R was limited to only the Indian Continent with a non-flagship processor Snapdragon 870. The processor was a minor upgrade to the previous year’s flagship processor.

As OnePlus launched the OnePlus 9RT in China a couple of months ago we know about the specifications. There won’t be that much change in the specifications. The OnePlus 9RT will be coming with Snapdragon 888 chipset and a 50MP camera sensor on the back. The display will be a 120Hz full HD AMOLED panel with a size of 6.2-inch. The phone packs a RAM of up to 12GB with storage of up to 256GB. It has the WRAP 65T charging technology to power a 4,500 mAh battery.

On the Other hand, OnePlus Buds Z2 will be having support to Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). It will also have a battery life of up to 38 hours on a single charge. The launch overall seems to be for budget-friendly gadgets. Stay tuned for the launch on January 14th.
