OnePlus launches two new models to the Nord lineup today as N10 5G and N100. These will be the successor to their budget line up of OnePlus Nord. As previously mentioned by OnePlus that Nord will be more of midrange phones than flagships. The new phones are available in Europe from November 10.
Nord N10 5G:
The N10 5G is much like the original Nord. The phone features a 6.49-inch IPS LCD display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. The display has a 90Hz refresh rate and is FHD+(1080 x 2400). This phone has Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 chipset with a 5G modem. The Nord N10 5G has 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM with 128 GB UFS 2.1 storage. It also has expandable storage up to 512GB. N10 5G has a juice of 4300mAh battery which also supports Warp 30T charging. The fingerprint reader is present at the rear. It also has a dual stereo speaker.
Now coming to the cameras OnePlus has finally got a new sensor into this phone. The N10 5G has a 64MP quad-camera setup. The main camera is 64MP with f/1.79 with no OIS. It also features an ultrawide camera of 8MP with f/2.25 and a field view of 119°. The remaining cameras are the 2MP micro and monochrome lens. The front is a 16MP selfie camera with f/2.05. The rear cameras can record video up to 4K@30fps and front up to 1080@60fps.
I almost forgot this phone also has the 3.5mm headphone jack. I can’t remember the last OnePlus phone to have a headphone jack. But finally it is hear in the new Nord lineup.
Nord N100:
The Nord N100 is the lower-end model of the N10 5G. The phone has a bigger 6.52-inch HD+(720 x 1600) IPS LCD display. Nord N100 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 chipset and has no 5G support. It has 4GB of LPDDRX4 RAM and 64GB 2.1 storage which is expandable up to 512GB. N100 has a massive 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. The phone has a rear-mount fingerprint sensor with a single speaker.
Let’s talk about the cameras. The N100 has a 13MP triple camera setup with a 13MP main camera of f/2.2 and no OIS. The second and third cameras are the macro and bokeh sensors each with 2MP. The selfie camera is an 8MP sensor with f/2.0. The rear and front can record video up to 1080@30fps. It also has a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Both the phones come in a single color N10 5G in Midnight Ice and N100 in Midnight Frost.
Prices:
The Nord N10 5G is available at £329 which is roughly Rs. 31,000(converted price). The Nord N100 is available at £179 when converted to India price is nearly Rs.17,500. There is no official confirmation of prices or availability in India till now the phone looks exclusive in Europe.
